mate you should write a sitcom, you cant write the comedy gold that happens to you on a daily basis.. hope it clears up mate and you get some sun before you fly back.
I'm bloody cold and going to play football to keep warm.we came this time last year and it was ok. Only way to keep the missus happy will be to go shopping. This was supposed to be all inclusive and will now cost a fortune. And yes Len all my fault.why can't I get a job which allows me to take holidays in the summer

This kid in our hotel walked past us in his Charlton top. The poor lad every time he saw us Ian started singing Top of the League at him as he ran off.

Steve, next year bring the family to Dubai. Minimum daytime temperature at this time of year is 22 degrees, & the norm is nearer 26-28 degrees. Sunshine pretty much guaranteed all year round!
Update is weather the same today and rep says will be tomorrow. Seeing as we are only here for 10 days, it looks like no tan, which don't really Bother me but missus is horrified.Looks like I will have to pay for her to go away for a week with the kids in the summer whilst I work. Shopping beckons today bloody great. The only day we had of good weather was the day after we got here but spent half of that moving rooms as we booked 2 as my teenage daughter brought a friend with her and the Original rooms were miles apart.

Went Sharm the end of Jan/start of Feb back in 2008 and was freezing too. Windy and on our first day had the first rain for 6 months. Missus was not happy having to go out and buy fleeces and a jacket as most of the bars etc were open air.

Is this you Steve?
hey ho, have a good game.
If you'd stayed at home, it would only be grey, gloomy and freezing.
At least it's somewhere different.
Only 4 degrees but blue skies, bright and cheerful!
16 degrees today in Cairo, 18 degrees tomorrow, and 20 degrees on Friday.
All day blue skies and sun!
Although we all know it won't last.
Very pleasing tho to see a Charlton shirt abroad.
Now thats me off home chuckling. No internet for the next few days so will miss this little thread.
;o)
