hey guys, just wondering if any of you know of a CAFC supporters club in Ireland? I cant seem to find one online. Even a way of joining an English fan club would be appreciated, all the ones I have found are London based and it seems like you have to be within their post code or something. cheers!

Well done to Jordan Cousins and the other England boys for qualifying for the last 16, although Jordan came off right at the end with his arm all strapped up, poss shoulder injury.

Did anyone see the canadien goalkeeper score against England in the last game? Another reason for a tall goalkeeper!

Hey everyone,
first time posting, but I have been reading for board for awhile now, I am going to the Charlton v Hartlepool game on the last day of the season, although I have been to the Valley a few times, the 5 people I am going with have never gone. Basically I am looking for a good pub to go to before the game thats near the stadium, the more Charlton supporters the better. Also if there is a good place nearby to get some fish n chips that anyone knows of that would be great.

England 2 - USA 2 is my prediction.
ENG: Rooney 17', Lampard 86'- USA: Donovan 40', Donovan 66'

This result would fare better for the English compared to the 1950 result when USA shocked the world with a 1-0 win over tourney favorites England. Dont be surprised with a draw on the opening match. Anything can happen when 2 quality sides meet on the greatest stage of football on the first group game of the tournament!

News reaches me, via a visit from a great friend who is rather TOO familiar with the inner workings of the Thai Penal system, that the Bangkok Prisons are holding a world cup football competition.
There are, so I hear, more foreigners in Bangkok gaols than locals, who tend to be sent to the ones nearest their families.
Red hot favourites are England, with Thailand Germany Italy also in the running.
Australia and New Zealand have teams as do South Africa and a combined African team.
Cambodia dont have the stamina, Laos arent woth the shirts they wear and the French are arguing whether to participate.
Could be a cracking tournament this year with betting going wild.
Of course we see the last of some of the hard men of Thai prison football as, after 8 years, you are re-patriated to serve the remainder of your sentence in your home country.

Anyone wishing an update let me know

Im off to play in a Tournament at my Old Uni in America at the end of March. We have an Alumni team for the tournament and i want to get our team wearing a Charlton kit as i forced a few of my American pals to start supporting the Addicks.

Sinch ISC died little have been done to encourage the supporters over the world to feel like we are a part of the family. On Saturday there will be focus on Internatinoal supporters, the Oldham game. Not a big event bout you have to start somewhere. We hope this will live on so this event can be done twice a year. Once in October and once around Christmas. For taking part of Saturdays event contact the ticket office/commercial center. what follows is what you can buy in a package. Since there's lack of time not many may have the possibility to show up but I hope the word spreads so there can be more of us meeting up next October (or this Christmas).

he Fans' Forum have been working together with the club to secure a package for our international fans that are coming to the match on Saturday versus Oldham.

I'm booked to come over to the UK over Christmas and New Year and had earmarked December 19th as the one game I would definitely make (although I'm going to make sure I get to another one - Just not sure which yet). Of course that is the day we play Millsmall - I'm sure my meek mannered and friendly Canadian wife will love the atmosphere at this one LOL, maybe she should stay at home if she ever wants to come to the valley again.........

My team Tiene Fuego(have you got a light, in Spanish) are tonight in the Semi Finals of the thrid division championships at Richmond girls school gymnasium, here in Melbourne.....

Now obviously this is one of the biggest events on the football calendar, only slightly over shadowed by events at Old Trafford yesterday .......

Its my first semi Final against a bunch of mugs called the whites who play in a Bayern Munich Kit (spit)

So at 10pm (your time 12pm) as much positive energy as posible guys...

Spoke to the CEO after the game on Saturday and he told me that he was about to sign up for International online commentary. Great news and hopefully people will now sign up and use the service. Im predicting it will be around £40 for the season...the price of two of the cheaper match day tickets....so its a bargain for all of those in exile!
