I must say, as much as I enjoyed reading what you had to say, I couldnt help but lose interest after a while. Its as if you had a great grasp on the subject matter, but you forgot to include your readers. Perhaps you should think about this from more than one angle. Or maybe you shouldnt generalise so much. Its better if you think about what others may have to say instead of just going for a gut reaction to the subject. Think about adjusting your own thought process and giving others who may read this the benefit of the doubt.

This is definitely a blog that people need to get behind. The problem is, no one wants to do a great deal of reading and not have something else to stimulate the mind. This is the internet, after all. Maybe if you added a video or two to emphasise your point. Ill stick around, FOR SURE. But, I dont know if others will.

I must say I'm really looking forward to this season, we have a weakened team but, this feels like a turning point. Maybe it’s because RM is to request sole control of the club from the shareholders in the next few weeks, if this change is granted the management structure will be clear to all where it was not previously. Add to that the offloading of the last remaining premiership contracts and maybe we can start looking forward and not back. As has been said, all who are here want to be here and not just because of the lucrative contract, but because they want to achieve something.

The club has hit the bottom and is turning around, the team may yet prove that we can go lower but the shadows cast by mountains of debt (friendly or not) and a myriad of voices in the decision making process have lifted, that can only be a good thing.

Charlton had a lot of players contracts expire all at once and were (apparently) very late in setting a playing side budget for this season. Due to these considerations the squad has not yet been completed, we are extremely susceptible to injuries and bans. Assuming we fulfil the expected squad building, if we come out of the first ten games in a good position we can kick on. The expected squad building will depend on how much of the transfer fees from this seasons sales or any new investment is made available and the total budget. If there is any investment I for one can’t see it being big, we shall see.

Having said that, there is certainly a feeling of “the only way is up” about the place, as they say “it’s the hope that kills you.”
