About Us
Charlton Life is an independent project devised, constructed and maintained by and for Charlton Athletic Football Club supporters. Though we seek to work together with anyone that shares our passion for Charlton Athletic Football Club, the Charlton Life project is operated independently of, and is not officially affiliated with, Charlton Athletic FC, nor Charlton Athletic PLC, nor any official, or unofficial supporters' clubs, organisations, or publications. In this way, we seek to remain independently critical in all issues affecting Charlton Athletic FC and its supporters.Aims
Through the Charlton Life project we aim to build a dynamic online community involved in celebrating all the ways in which we live our lives as passionate Charlton Athletic supporters. We see this as particularly important in light of the Club's aims to continually increase the size of The Valley and the Club's active fan-base.Future Directions
We have a few innovative ideas that still need a bit of time to gestate before they'll be ready for 'public' use in the Charlton Life community. We're keeping quiet for now, but we can say that this site will serve as a hub for a few related sites; sites that will be a basis for building online community, interaction and collaboration between Charlton Supporters. These sites will take advantage of the new generation of internet applications, which facilitate social interaction and collaboration, rather than the simple, one-way communication characteristic of the previous generation of websites that comprise much of the content of the contemporary internet.When the time is right, we'll post more information here about all of the projects we're working on and ask for your input.
